The Sparks & Wiry Cries spevSLAM Slovenia is a unique competition for emerging composer/performer teams to premiere new art song in Ljubljana, Slovenia, in partnership with Festival Ljubljana for the 2021 Slovenian Music Days. In the poetry-slam tradition, audience members vote on their favorite performances, and 1,800€ in cash prizes are awarded.

Team registration is now full! spevSLAM will be 100% virtual and voting for the 10 teams will take place between April 14th-20nd, 2021. Winners will be announced on April 21st, the last day of the festival!
